Telemedicine Connectivity

SGCVC is having vast connectivity for telemedicine provided by ISRO. An MOU was formalized on 6th November 2006 between the Dr. K M Cherian Heart Foundation and ISRO Space, Government of India.

This facility was inaugurated by the Former President of India, His Excellency, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam at Parumala. Using this telemedicine connectivity SGCVC have been conducting regular classes for nurses and nursing students. These classes are relayed from Frontier Lifeline Chennai.

Telemedicine connectivity is also used to do regular consultation with doctors from different centers across India.
